It has become a tradition, that in Lincolnshire, the crown representative launches the start of the Remembrance period, and the Poppy appeal. This year the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire, Mr Andrew Clark was in attendance. For many years, this ceremony has been carried out at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage centre, East Kirkby with the Lancaster bomber ‘Just Jane’ providing a spectacular backdrop. Mal Emsden from TMS Support Solutions Ltd is not only a Veteran, but also plays 2 key roles within the Cadet structure from 17 (Coningsby) Sqn ATC. He is the Sqn Adjutant and civilian instructor, dedicating his personal time to the development of the young men and women under his Command.
