The Design Repository (DR) was created to provide the British Armed Forces with a secure location for the management of key project data and technical documents, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) data, Logistics Support Analysis Records (LSAR) and Through Life Management Plans (TLMPs).One function of the DR is to provide on-line access to current technical information for the Royal Navy through Books of Reference (BR), the Army through Army Equipment Support Publications (AESPs) and the Royal Air Force through Air Publications (AP). This is achieved via Technical Documentation On Line (TDOL). TDOL provides viewing access to BRs, AESPs and APs and their digital variants to all organisations with a DR link. This facility has significantly reduced the need for hard copy printed technical manuals and their distribution as the user community has the ability to print a local controlled copy. TMS is one of very few companies with direct access to TDOL via our own industry vault, thereby, providing us with the ability to offer the following services:Preparation of all manuals for upload to TDOL (print instruction pagination files and correctly formatted .pdf files) Uploading new or amended manuals, amendment instructions and pagination files onto TDOLAccess to download master copy material from TDOL (following MOD transfer into the TMS vault) for amendment as required by the customer.
